BRIEF
The customer required a temporary power rental solution during the initial stages of their development of the Khazzan-Makarem natural gas fields in the Sultanate of Oman. The project specifically required an on-demand power supply throughout the development’s wells and central gas processing plant.
SOLUTION
Our temporary power generation fleet is housed in bunded containers suitable for operation in the oil & gas industry and the project included an in-house designed 15,000 amp main distribution panel to ensure uninterrupted supply and protection to the customer’s network. RSS offered its custom-made Load Demand Panel, which offers an automated system that controls and manages the plant’s efficiency without additional man power.
Our installation, commission and continued operation are compliant with all relevant Quality, Health and Safety (QHS) requirements specific to the oil & gas industry. Our dedicated on-site service support teams are trained and qualified in line with all QHS and operating requirements, ensuring the health and safety of our people and partners comes first.
SERVICE
Due to our large rental fleet, RSS is agile and able to mobilise equipment from our strategically located bases in the GCC, ensuring our solutions reach the customer without delay. Once our temporary power equipment is installed, we continue to ensure uncompromising service and maintenance throughout the life of the project by our dedicated account manager and on-site service support teams.
